Question on grill removal

Question on grill removal

Hey im taking the grill out of my car and was wondering what tool would be best to remove the tabs with? I was messing aorund with it and was using a flat head screw driver but i didnt want to mess the grill up. was thinking about using the back of the hammer. any ideas?

If you have one available to you, use a trim tool. AKA rivet-remover screw driver. They will pop right out.

im trying to remove the plastic grill too...i rather go grill less

when I removed mine to paint it I just used my fingers. Didn't need any tools. I just push the clips down or up which ever way I was trying to push it out

yea I tend to get a little carried away tho and will more than likely break a couple of em lol

do you think a service tech would have one?

they have them or you can get them at auto zone and pep boys

well im at work right now so I could just go ask one of em. just wanted to make sure that they would more then likely have one kinda long walk to service and its 102 degrees out.
