What paint would I need to paint my front chevy emblem with? Would a high temp paint I plan on using on my calipers work? ...side question...would you recommend using a primer for my calipers or just clean them very well?

 

I used regular spray paint, but that's probably not what you're looking for. I went for the flat black look so regular paint was fine for me, but if you want your bowtie to color match the car get GM spray paint you can find the part numbers in the "Help From the Parts Department" thread in the General Cobalt section.

 

I got the color code for my paint from this site and went to GMPartsDirect.com put that number in there, and ordered myself a couple cans. was a perfect match for my Sunburst Orange

 

when i had painted my emblem before i was in an accident, I just bought krylon blue paint. IMO krylon is FTW! ummm, I have a white car and it matched my color scheme. After the accident however, I carbon fiber wrapped mine n it looks good. IMO though, if u paint it, tape off the chrome piece, bc it makes it stand out better. there's my 2 cents. :-)

So I guess its krylon...My car is silver, and i kinda want a silver /w blue accents sceme. So blue krylon.....do they carry it at walmart or canadian tire? thanks

ummm they carry krylon...i think its like 2.97 a can...works the best. n its kinna cheap. hope this helps.
