Questions about my HID's...
So i have a set of BuyHids retrofits with mini morimoto projectors and 6000k bulbs and 35w ballasts right now. But seeing some pics on here of other people HID's mine seem really really dull, like the output is just not that great. Im not going for looks as much as use. I care about how it looks but most people choose HID's solely on how they look and not how much output you get. 6000k was a happy medium for me put they just seem really dull. If i upgraded to 55w ballasts would that improve the output??
Or if there is something else i can do any suggestions are great. I don't think i have any pictures of the output, i will rummage through my pics and see. I dont have my car right now because its in the body shop or i would go snap some real quick, some bitch rear ended me
. Any help is appreciated
EDIT:
here is a pic, im not sure if you can tell but the output just seems to stop too soon, and if i aim the bulbs up a little more then i cant see up close and the light just seems "thinner". I probably sound like a ******* trying to describe this lol

The Mini H1s won't work very well with 55 watt ballasts. You can fry the bowls. I'd change over to 4,300k bulbs and see if that helps. Also, the Mini H1 projector provide much better light output than your stock low beams, but high beam performance is about the same. The newest versions of the MH1s, the 5.0s, now have a foreground limiter to block some of the excess light towards the bumper. If you don't have the newer MH1s with the foreground limiter, than 55 watt ballasts are only going to make your ability to see far MUCH worse. Stick with 35 watt and change your bulbs to 4,300k. A lot of people swear by the XB35 bulbs from The Retrofit Source.
