Rear bowtie

Has anyone ever painted the rear bowtie and then re-attached it over the keyhole? What do you think about the idea? I wanted to take it off all together and then I wondered if it would be interesting to cover the keyhole with. My car is silver.. I want to paint the front bowtie too. What color do you think would work best? Silver, black, blue, or white. I'm thinking white would look pretty interesting and match the SS logos.. But my car also has a silver and black theme going already... hmmm *ponders*

Yeah I didnt realize the keyhold stuck out so much. You could always hollow out the back of the bowtie if you needed.

That works on a blacked out car. I just dont know about a silver ss.. hmm.

if u can get it to work id say do it. saves money over shaving it off. i personally went with removing it totally and moving the cobalt letters to go across the middle of the trunk
