Rear Bowtie Questions

1. Does anyone know the part number?

2. Is the back(mounting surface) angled or is it flat? I am thinking of painting two and putting them on my doors(where SS is on SS/SC's and SS/TC's)

3. Do they come with the tape backing or do I have to do that on my own?

Comes with the sticky tape. Get em on eBay. Don't need a part #

I still need to know number 2... and I usually just buy from dealer, I get a steep discount because I am in the automotive field at my school, it is normally cheeper than ebay.

Yea, It won't look good. I like people looking at the side of my car and know its a SS and not just some other Cobalt driving down the road.

I have an LS the side is too plain. I might put it where my mom's vinyl bowtie is, just before the rear tire.

Not a problem

It may work but it would look a lot better if you bought a smaller version of the bowtie though

if they dont come with tape, i use 3m double sided tape and mine dont come off. the SS on the door should go between the molding on the and the end or just below the modling at the front of the door, but i wouldnt put the bow tie on the door. the trunk surface is flat, the only angle you should worry about with the bow tie is in the ftont.

Once again, I dont have an SS, I was just toying with the positioning. I would never throw SS on there because I am not a ricer, I dont claim I have things I dont actually have.
