Rear Lip Install

Hey guys i just got my rear lip to put on my 07 2.4 and i have already looked at the thread on how to install it the traditional way including dremeling out slits in the bumper to slide the tabs through etc. i was wondering if anyone has attached it another way. i was thinking just to cut the tabs off and use construction glue to attach it and put a screw on the bottom of each side where it meets the rear fender.

rather than using glue, if you do not want to cut slips, strong double sided tape may be your best bet. That way you will not ruin your paint. Of course you should use screws as well.

Ya looks amazing but probably cost more than the lip.
You're lucky you have a coupe and you can just slap the lip on. I had to do a lot of work to mine to get it to fit.

Na not shaped different. The lip is like an inch too long on both sides. It hangs off the bumper and almost hits the tire. I had to cut a section out of both sides and then put it back together and sand the seem done. I didn't it all on my kitchen table lol

Ya it was stressful but worth it. There's only like 10 sedans with the rear lip. I like being different lol
