No. The only thing that needs to be cut is the bumper. You have to cut the slits and if you are a base model you will have to cut a section out on your bumper do the grille part of the lip will clear

Or I might be wrong about the base model. You might not need to cut a section out because the base model bumpers are shorter than the ss bumpers.
