Reattaching bagdes

What is the best way to reattach the "Cobalt LTZ" badge to the back of my trunk? I removed them very cleanly, but I like the badged look better so I'd like to reapply them. I tried just sticking them back on, but the fit doesn't feel secure. Should I use glue?

Well I wasn't about to whip out the elmer's lol, I thought maybe some kind of adhesive would be needed, but double sided 3m tape will really hold?
