Thats why I suggested a hinge. When the cars moving the air flow will push the tag up and out of the way allowing the air to hit the HE damn near un-obstructed.

I had the tag on my CAVI. mounted this way, with a hinge, and I got pulled over several times for not having a front tag. I'd tell the cop "Yes I do you must have missed it, go look." By then no air flow & the tag would be dropped down for the po po to see. They'd scratch thier heads and say "sorry sir I didn't see it, have a nice day"

Yeah, in Illinois they require it on the front as well. But tot he OP, it looks okay, but its up to far,a nd the other holes on the bumper don't look good. Perhaps lower it a little bit. Its just up too high in my opinion.

looks like one of those 'Hello My Name Is' stickers, lol.....nah but on a serious note i vote no. Just doesnt appeal to me. It sucks that the front bumper just doesnt give you much to work with. You get an 'A' for effort though lol

Ahhhh, good eye! Not trimmed but folded. Triming/cutting IS illegal, its defined as destruction of state property and can get you in serious trouble if they want to push it.

However folding a tag does not destroy it at all, it just folds it. besides all I then did was drill 2 small holes in the lower grill and mount it useing nuts and bolts.

Its been like that simce i bought the car and I've yet to have an issue.
