Removed rear chevy symbol, now need help please.

So last night I removed my rear chevy symbol which was a PITA, I got it off and all the glue that held it on also. I used goof off to get the glue off but I guess there was something in the towel I used becuase now I have quite a few little scratches right where my chevy symbol was. I am trying to find out what the best thing is for polishing these out I have used meguires scratch x before and it seemed to work ok but took a while and a few applications. What is your suggestions? Any advise will be greatly appreciated. Also does anyone know a really good detailer in the Houston, TX area that can do a full polish and shine it up really nice for a reasonable price? Thanks in advance.

I dont mind wet sanding but I am afraid I will get one spot looking better than the other. I waxed it real quick this morning before I went to wark and its not that noticeable but its the fact that I know its there.
