removing stock antenna

removing stock antenna

ok well i've tried using fingers, tools to remove the stock antenna and it's still on like a tough bugger and is it ok if when i was trying to remove the antenna to install a shortie, that the bottom part, the inside part of the antenna in the car as well moves?? just curious if thats a problem or not

Re your question: I have never removed an antenna, but did you try looking at if from the inside of your trunk?

I can unscrew my antenna just fine. I don't it should move all the way into the trunk.

To remove the antenna to install a shorty just put a wrench that fits on the bottom of it and turn. Remember left loosey righty tighty.
