Repaint damage or New CF hood?

So as some of you may have read, someone hit my car and damaged the hood. The repair on the hood will be about $300 as per the estimate. Now my qwuestion is, do I get the hood repainted or do I just get a nice CF hood instead?

Discuss!

I say go for the CF if your going to spend $300 on repairing your stock one.

Go with the RKSport Ram Air Hood. Then you can add the GMPP intake and it will be functional Ram Air CAI.

I would said CF! Though to me CF looks kinda funny on a black car, but I would definitely go with an aftermarket hood of some sort, fiber glass perhaps. But yeah, between the stock and CF, go CF

And I would still go with the RKsport one. that is teh CF hood i'll get one day. =)

If you really think about it a cf or fiberglass hood can be a performance item, because you are shaving like 40lbs. of body fat. this could probably shave .02 seconds off your e.t.'s .. you might say "well, thats not alot", but every little bit counts. take off the wing and remove the passenger seat, rear seat, spare tire and jack, and now we're talking close to half a second if you get a good launch!
