Hello everyone. My Mom has an 07 Cobalt SS and she would really like to replace the gold bow tie on the front grille with the SS logo. I searched the forums and found this photo of how she wants her car to look!



So, my obvious question is how to make it happen? I'd like to buy it for her for Mother's Day. Do I just buy an SS Emblem and replace the bow tie? Or do I have to get a whole front fascia? Please, any info would be great. I don't know anything about Cobalts!

If I can get just the SS emblem, point me in the right direction to buy online and let me know how I can get the bow tie off with out much grief!

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

 

just remover the bowtie and buy the ss emblem and attach in its place, there are two bolts behind the bowtie holding it on

 

Cool! Is there an SS emblem made to replace the bow tie? Or do I just get the self adhesive rear deck emblem? I'd like the new emblem to bolt on in place of the old one if possible??

 

just uise the rear deck emblem, nothing is specifically made, i think there is one though that is slightly larger then our rear deck emblem, either way you can get em from gmpartsdirect.com or ebay has tons

 

go to ebay and buy a trail blazer ss emblem. they'er bigger than the cobalt ss emblem, and will look better in the front. all you do is remove the 2 screws from the back of the chevvy emblem then stick the ss emblem on with double sided tape. (@'.')=@ SS

 

exactly, i couldnt remeber which emblem was bigger though, the emblem should come with the tape attached already too

 

If you wanna go big, go with the trailblazer emblem, if you want it to look good like the one in the picture, that one looks like eather the side emblem on the cobalt or maybe even the dash logo on the cobalt, personaly i think the one of thouse would look great.
