I currently have 2 layers of 35% tint on my front windows and limo the back 3, its pretty dark but you can still see in, do you think if i got it taken off and put a layer of limo i would get a ticket? I just really liked the blacked out look and the privacy is nice!

i got two tint tickets within a couple weeks of each other. I have 5% all the way around. In NC the legal limit is 35%. All you gotta do is take a receipt to the DA saying the tint was removed if you get a ticket and it'll be dismissed.

I think its funny how people get tint tickets all the time. I have never had legal tint on any of my cars never got a ticket for it. You guys must drive like this

Guy gets pulled over for speeding.
The cop told him to turn down his music. Driver refuses. Ticket.
The cop told him he was speeding. Ticket.
The guy gets mad, and throws his cigarette bud out of his car, onto the freeway. The cop said to go get, driver refuses. Ticket for littering.
There was more, but forgot. I just thought how true and funny on how "****" of a cop you come across.

I got stopped for tint just because the cop had nothing better to do, I wasn't speeding or anything.
Sucks cause I had to take it off, they made me take the car to the po-po station and get looked over to be sure it was removed.

^^^^^That blows... As the weather warms up I plan to get tinted up. I think I'm gonna go with about 20% all around..
