Just thinking about it, the bulbs had spade connectors on them, which I plugged into the stock piece. so maybe they plug into the harness instead

 

lol maybe looking at wiring is so confusing but once u start piecing it together is simple atleast for me.

 

I had it pieced together the night before, but it just wouldnt work

 

hmm if u want my help post pics of the relay harness and the plugs on the headlight im sure sum1 will chime in on ur thread thou

 

I can't take my headlights out for at least another week. So I hope someone can help me

 

well tomor the list consist of

adding more holes to the 2nd shroud
paiting the shrouds white
and possibly putting the halos on

i gotta work so not much will get done ill post a few more pics

You only need one set of wires from the bulbs correct? You can cut the rubber grommet off so you can slide the bulb holder on or am I wrong again?

 

the bulb has like 2 or 3 wires. the projector has a wire and the halos have 2.
you dont use the bulb holder "black piece" for retros

 

finished up the shrouds finally after getting some free time thurs or fri they should be done hopefully

btw heath, i got the harnesses working. one plug from the harness goes into the ballast, while the other goes where the ballast wire would go into the bulb

 

yeah i seen that the relay goes to the ballast instead of the connector on the bulb it just is left there lol thanks thou

oh you no you do but if u want halos itll take me longer lol if not i could do it in a day if i wanted but iv been fixing my tail lights and i sold 4 sets of black painted lights so been doing those as well tryin to work a real job lol and do my retros

lol understandable mike. what do you actually have as it is btw? and i plan to paint the shroud white as you can see and housing black but leave the turn signal chrome cause i have switchbacks and they just look better that way IMO alot of ppl black them out but i try to be diff. lol
