ill just leave this here

trunk tails are running
the outer tail has 2 rings. one which is running. and inside that running ring is another ring which is turnsignal and brake

thanks man. gotta hook em back up.
if you dont mind will you pm me pics of your splice/solder job to the stock wiring.?
im using those harness's but just want to see how yours look.
because on mine the outer tails have 2 grounds 2 positive. and inner have one of each so i had 8 taps on each side and it made a MESS of the stock wiring so i took it all off.
plan to hopefully wire it better to this stock harness so when i go to ever sell the tails i can just leave it all tapped to the harness and simply unplug the harness so whenever the tails get sold it will be straight plug and play

my wiring is NOT pretty. basically, the outer k2's 3wire harnessess are just plugged into the stock bulb sockets.
a while back, i had spliced in resistors on both sides, leaving me with very little wire to work with.
the new inner lights are simply spliced into those wires. i.e., cut the wire, strip the ends off, and sodder it back together with the new wire, then cover em up in electric tape
so if i took pics it would be really hard to tell what the f is going on

My wiring is a mess too, with scotch lock type connectors tying into the outer K2 wires.
I'm working on creating a more elegant solution using the harness that Cobalt08LS mentioned earlier in this thread. I ordered a bunch of them and will try to make the future sets of lights I make be plug-and-play by simply plugging them into the stock bulb fittings. To be continued...!

debatinf how to do it. because scotch locks are pain in ass.
