Retro Vendors...
Looking for some retro vendors if anyone knows who sells them. I tried buyhids, gentleman was very nice and was giving me a good deal, however I do not wish to wait 2 months. I am having trouble finding these, if anyone can list where I can find some i'd greatly appreciate it. Money is not much of a factor. Thanks for all helpful replies.
you can pm maven but i think it will be a while before he starts retros again. he had an injury at his work. he reimbursed me my money cause he didnt know when he would be able to get back to doin them.
How good are the buyHIDs retros? Like quality and output. I'm wondering because retros are always in the back of my mind, and they seem like a good price. I'm not trying to start anything, just curious.
Streetracinazian's work looks really good to me. I just bought a members lights that he made.
EDIT: guess this was before his work went down hill/became a scam artist lol

Maven, or buyhids are really the only legit people I would go to as far as "vendors"
BUT alot of people here know how to make them, and if you were local to them I'm sure they could help you out. I know I wouldn't mind making another set personally if somebody local wanted me to make them. They really aren't too difficult to do

it seems like headlights and carbon fiber hood and trunks are the same. take forever, and often causes grief. I have finnaly found good guys for lights, but still takes for ever and costs a lot of money. I dont have any advice frankly, I went through a bunch of vendors, and the last one is the bestm but when my next set of lights are done, I will be done lol It has taken 6 months.
I sold these, they were excellent but I wanted the drl to be projector as well.
vacuum formed interiors are very difficult to do, time consuming, and cost a lot of dough.

The gen 4 Cobalt hid depo lites on eBay are a heck of deal when you look at the big picture... so I recommend you consider that, There is an outfit in california selling them plug and play for under 300 a pair iirc. Takes a little moxy to do the wiring, and the adjusters are a pita, either preadjust and check or remove the inside fender liner to access
but dollar for dollar cant be beat.

Where are you local too? I have spare headlights in the garage and 4 days off a week right now. I've made 3 sets, but never thought of doing it as a vendor due to the work involved with making them.
