Anyone have issues installing their RKSport fiberglass ram air hood? Mine latches but doesnt seem to fit just right AND the oem part that is supposed to screw into the hood to hold the strut doesn't work cuz the oem screws are too short. The instructions say "install the RKSport supplied strut"...I didn't get anything other than the hood. Any help would be great. Thanks.

 

Give RK Sport a call and ask them about the strut. They'll take care of you, if not PM "Racecrafter" as that's their name on here.

 

I have that hood on my car. I only got a hood, no strut from RKSport. What kind of fitment problem are you having? Mine didn't shut evenly, one side was a little higher than the other, but I was able to adjust it with the adjusters under the hood and by lowering the hood clamp/lock/handle (whaterver you want to call it).
