Roll Cage

Just wondering how many users have a cage in their balts?
and did you make it or were you able to buy one pre bent and so on?
also i would like to know if it has the door bars, as well as a harness bar, and is it still able to get people into the rear seats?
or does it make it so you cant have rear seats?
and what site did you buy it from?

I have one in my car, i built it, the way its set up, i dont have reseats, it bolts to where the rear seat latches are

My harnesses are then bolted to the floor, where the rear seat crossmember is.

My cage allso has a harnessbar

what do you need a cage for? you have 217whp, so you wont be in the 10's on a drag and on a road course you are in a stock/street class that wouldnt require a cage. Do you need a harness bar?

I graduated coollege, I dont do math anymore. I have no idea what a gt35r has to do exactly with a roll cage...but which kind of racing are you going to do?

Here GMPP did a build on a roll cage

A real cage needs to be welded to the frame. Check that gmpp roll cage install out and see if a shop will do it.

If you want a race spec cage, you cant have rear seats, no one will get back there and that would be dangerous for them

I used 1 1/4 1020 steel, solid and hollow. Made a huge difference to the way the car handled.

And you will have to weld it to the floor, so you either need to know how to weld or know someone that can. The reason i didn't weld mine to the floor is because when i sell the car, i cant have the cage in.
