Question Sand?

There's a story in behind all this, unfortunately, that I will share later.

Now the question is should i sand it to a smooth finish it then clear coat it or leave it as is for a more unique look? Everyone I know are having mixed opinions and that includes me.

I like it because it's unique. But I'm kind of torn.

hahahah you used the wrong kind of paint. either that or there was something on the trim pieces that didn't let it adhere correctly. sand it all off and do it agian.

Man I really hope that isn't what you were going for.

Sand it down and repaint it.

by accident. it happens sometimes when you try to paint plastic. either the paint itself does not agree with the type of plastic(why they make adhesion promotors) or there was an oil or other nonmixable residue on the surface

First off, no, its not rhino liner, it was sanded and cleaned before hand and last, it was not intentional. I was using an epoxy based paint that was intended for fridges, stoves and other appliances. Everything was going okay for the first and second coat. Still had some minor problems but I managed. All i needed to do was touch up some areas then I was on to clear coat. At this point it was dusk and light was limited. I spray it outside and bring it in. Turns out from the time it left the can to the work surface, it froze. Being a lazy sob I add another coat to everything to get that effect. I am currently sanding it off and I will be doing it with a different paint.

SO. If you want to replicate this, paint your project and stick it in a deep freezer

Yea man that's your mistake. When painting try to be in at least 70 degrees.
