i scraped the bottom valance on the front bumper going up a steep drive way.....can you just buy a replacement bottom skirt........?

its not noticeable until under the car but still i hate knowing its there... any ideas guys ?

 

My front lip is all scratched underneath I wouldnt worry about it at all. You will be changing that all the time if your worried about scrapes underneath

 

dude, i have scrapes aaaaaall over the front lip...it happens. but yes you can buy after market.

if it was metal i would probably replace it but its plastic and that wont rust in the winter so who cares haha just drive on like it never happened..

 

yeah i have those scrapes too!! infact the day i got the car i ran over a twig and it scared my rear lip. most people would never find the imperfection but i know where it is!! hell these are the reasons why we have lips to protect the rest of the body from stupid things like that. i would just repaint the lip when it gets bad!

 

My bottom is scraped as well. I was pissed when it happened but living near and commuting in SLC it is bound to happen...At least it isn't apparent...

 

my wife ripped mine almost all the way off...I just bought a new lip

 

i have a few friends with slammed and dropped rides so heres some advice: turn your radio up when going in and out of parking lot ramps. your gonna know you scraped the bottom of your car but since you didn't hear it you can try to convince yourself it never happened

 

 

My front, rear, and side skirts are all scraped to hell. Just accept it.

 

Mine got scratched on a gas station entrance , it happens. Good thing you will only see it when changing the oil lol.

You just have to learn to be aware of how low your front end is, and adjust accordingly

 

I scrape my cobalt the first day I had it, leaving a gas station......... oooo, I was pissed, but I got over it.... **** happens, and seriously, who is gonna notice or care?

 

dont worry about it dude no one can see it. just be careful next time.

 

Find some colored electrical or duct tape and run some along the bottom of the lips so that when you do scrape you have to get through the tape before scraping the lip itself.

 

I was going to pick up my TC today but who ever did the unloading of my car ripped off the deflector so now I will have to wait two days before I can pick it up.

 

Don't care about the front lip. It's already scraped to hell. But when I here metal from my exhaust I get pissed
