Scratches

I have a black cobalt, over the course of the winter I got these two long scratches. They aren't deep. Could a little wax get rid of it, or does it need to be buffed or something? Weather is looking great here today and tomorrow. I'd like to clean it up a little more since wither looks pretty much over. I washed my car the other day and man these scratches stick out bad. 1 of them is on the rear quarter panel on the passenger side and the other is on the little piece between the windshield and the passenger door.

Lick your finger and rub it over the scratch... if it gets darker then it can be buffed out. If not then you're gonna need to repaint.

If the scratch isn't down to the primer you can probably buff it out. If it hit primer, forget it. You'll need some opaint work. Take it to a professional detail shop. They have the high speed buffers which will take way more than you can do by hand.
