Seat swapping

My question is would it work to switch 07 SS/SC seats with an 08 SS/TC sedan? Obviously the fronts could be interchanged but is that back seat longer, wider, taller??

i swapped coupe rear seats into my sedan when i had it and the seats fit perfectly fine. i think its safe to say that putting sedan seats in a coupe would work as well

Most of the time, you'd be right. Most coupes dont share the same seats as their sedan brethren, we however, are lucky.

I wouldn't be too sure about that:

Coupe: GM Parts Direct

Sedan: GM Parts Direct

If you look closely at both illustrations, you could see there is SLIGHT differences like with size. Compare each part back and forth and you'll notice it.

They are the same size. I have 2009 SS/TC coupe seats in my 05.

Those drawings are not to scale.

Hey guys I swapped some 09 cobalt sedan seats with my 07 cobalt sedan and now receive a airbag light. Does anyone have any idea why? Im thinking I might have to switch out the airbag sensor from my old seats to my new one?

You will need to do that. There is a known discrepancy between the airbag sensors of certain years. So you will need to swap them.
