Seats?

I have an imprint on my seat from where my wallet sits in my pocket. It's the ss leather seats. Anyone know how to get this annoying imprint out? Thanks..

fatass!!
just kidding!

ummm not too sure exactly, but I would think some sort of leather conditioner or something. A product that softens the leather so that it can stretch out and maybe regain it's original shape. Check an aphosltry shop if you have one in your area.

Obviously it depends on how bad the imprint is.
I usually put my wallet in the cupholder cause I don't like the pressure on the seat or my butt.
Maybe if you always take the wallet out the leather may return to normal, unless it is really stretched? Or check with a leather expert, possibly you can use a steamer or something like that to shrink the leather? Again, just some ideas, I don't know what will work for sure, but Good Luck!

Replace that piece of leather with some better quality leather.

I'm not fat, just loaded.
I've tried the conditioning thing, it seemed to work the less I sat in the car. I was just wondering if a hair dryer or something would shrink it up a little. Stupid wallet.

Must be nice to be loaded! My wallet is paper thin these days!
Yeah, a hairdryer might work, I was thinking maybe even an iron set on low with some cloth so the iron doesn't burn the leather.
I'd maybe google it and see what the leather experts say.

i keep my keys in my back pocket and wallet and cell in fronts, of jacket, that way the only thing in my back pocket HAS to come out before i get in my car..

It prolly wont be JUST the leather, the foam underneath is probably indented, if you can fix the foam then im sure the leather would look alot better

Haha, I was just joking. Mines pretty thin with a $480 car payment and a $350/month insurance bill.

^^ That's what I was thinking! My payment is 420 a month and 130 for insurance. Of course it helps to be female. haha. Anyways, I would just use a conditioner for your seats and just keep your "fat" wallet out of your butt.

Just a thought but maybe if you take your wallet out from now on the foam might work its way out and return to normal.. Again just a thought

Put your wallet in your other pocket for a while and even it out...

I hate carrying a wallet, I always just leave mine in my car. It fits in the little area where the console is supposed to sit perfectly.

had a similar problem, imprint/scratch on my passenger seat.

might try having the dealer replace the insert, my gf messed mine up and i braught it to the dealer , they are hooking me up with a new insert under warranty.

Here is something to think about>>> My wife has a 2006 SS/NA with 15,000 miles & No wrinkling of the Leather! On a Side Note she has heated seats & the Pad is alot stiffer >>> I have 2006 SS/SC with no heated seats because it wasn't offered & My seats also show a little wrinkling as you state! Now seems to me the leather was cut to fit Heated & Nonheated seats & the difference in the thickness without the pad allows for the seat to wrinkle! I am working on a fix ie: a Filler for where the Heat pad goes!

If it bothers you that much, bring them in to the dealer. They said it should take up to 2 days to have them sent out and re-upholstered.

I'm 19 and only had 6 months of credit history. My APR was 6.7 and I put 2000 down. A vette would be about 700/month.
