Shaved Emblems (naked look)

I was considering shaving the emblems for a nice bare bottom for my SS and was wondering if the people who have done it could share some insite on how to go about doing that. I've never done it or seen it done to any other cars. Are there holes? Is an outline left on the paint from fading? And how do you get it off in the first place? Any input would be helpful, including any problems and solutions you've come across doing this mod, let me know. Thanks guys.

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-guide-43/debadging-rear-11560/ that should have all the info you need. Just a word of advice so you don't get flamed... before posting try the search function. Some people can be ****** about asking questions previously asked. Good luck with debadging. Post pics when you're done!

if you take enough time with a hairdryer before hand, you can just scrape it off with a credit card... i used an expired drivers license... o, and goo gone is your friend!! i know i didn't have any fading at all... just be careful when you're taking them off, you have to be patient...

My best advice is to take your time. I can't stress this enough. I was taking of my rear bowtie and doing fine, I thought I had enough sticky stuff off that I could pull it off with my hand and I left two big ass gashes in my paint all the way down to the metal. Then I used GMs touch up paint and it's darker then my cars color. Major screw up on my part. Now I have a major repair to do the next time I get a chance.

your going to want5 to usede fishing string for all the badges then used a heat gun or a blow dryer to heat it up. then used some goo gone and a rag. if to used anything but that your going to **** up your paint! It'll take some time to get it all off so just take your time. hit me up if you need any help. here are some pics of my car.
