Whatever anzo's are, if they're not projectors they are not better. But go ahead and do what you please... as you see in this thread the majority of HID's are without projectors here.

Here's the deal. HID bulbs are a lot brighter than your stock halogen bulbs. Something like 3x brighter. What projectors do is take advantage of said brightness and 'project' the light a lot further as well as radially. Don't get me wrong, HID's in reflector housings will be brighter than a halogen bulb in the same housing but by not using projectors you are negating the advantage of the brighter bulb, to an extent.

Finally had my car and good camera in the same place, and washed my car so I got some good pictures of my lights.

6k retrofit from buyhids.com. I must say, it does make quite the difference having the HIDs in projectors. Having been skeptical of HIDs period prior to this, I must say I'm now a believer. The buyhid kits are also very easy to install and they look to be of great quality. I would recommend them to anyone, and I intend on picking up a 3k fog kit in the spring.

**** yes projectors are better. There's no contest. Even with the shitty projectors I have the output still rapes a halogen reflector.

With the buyhids bulb, the bulb physical moves, just like a stock halogen bulb does. This way, you have hid low beam, and high beam.

Stock halogens don't move. The high beam filament is positioned differently in the bulb which creates a different pattern and consumers more power and is therefore brighter. That's why when u pull back on the headlight control u get both low and high on at the same time in their proper positions. Nothing moves
