side marker

side marker

so i smoked out my side marker and the left one got messed up. i sanded the nightshade off and scratched the lens.
does anyone know the part number for another one?

for future refrence when ever u tint any thing using night shade get a can of carb cleaner aswell... itll take the tint right off and wont hurt the lens....

Or paint reducer, thats what I used to get the clear off my lenses. Just make sure you wear gloves, and not the vinyl ones either....they melt lol

yeah. because the right one is fine just the left one dripped and i didnt see it dripping when i left it to dry.

Well since you already sanded it and the damage is done, head to Napa or another similar auto store and pick up a headlight restoring kit. Basicly its got 2-4 different grit sand papers and usually a plastics polish in it. Just follow the directions on the box and you will have a shiny side marker again without buying another one.

If you feel like doing it easier check your local wrecking/junk yards for any cobalt with the same body style (coupe, sedans dont have side markers) and pick up the one you need. Should be able to get outta there with it for under 30 bucks.
