side mirrors
i've been thinking about painting my side mirrors to match my car. i never really cared for the all black set so what i'm wondering is, has anyone here painted theirs and if so have you had any problems with them? like any chipping or fading? i figured this would be a cool weekend project so any opinions would be awesome, thanks guys!!
also, anyone have a pic of a victory red balt with the colored mirrors? i've seen just about every color but and i was hoping to get an idea of what they would look like before i did anything. btw, my photoshop skills = haha
+rep to whoever has a pic

I like the body matched "skull caps" as well. I have an LS with the basic side mirrors, but with my car being black they match anyway. I would like the shiny color matched caps, but they're hard to find in black. You can buy them online (they used to be listed on eBay but I can't find them now) in the color to match your car.
If I was doing mine, I would probably sand them to smooth them out then prime them, add a few layers of paint to match my car, then hit em with a few layers of clear coat. Shouldn't be difficult at all.
If anyone has done this to theirs I would like to see pics as well.
