Yea I noticed a lot of competitive sales scooping at the dealership I went to. My salesperson even told me about it while helping me out. That really sucks.
And just 1k on a z06.. wow... I woulda thought they would really want to reward you for that .

This is how the automotive sales industry works. I worked at a dealer for a bit. The money from commission was only part of what paid the bills. Where I worked and at most dealerships the incentives are what really pay off. We got incentives for bench marks. Total sales, Total cost of sales, resigning a customer all had different prices of what we would get toward the bottom line. If you don't like another sales men taking some of your sale then be the first to the door, the first to the car, the first to the desk. Then when you make a sell make sure the customer recognizes you as the one who sold him / her the vehicle. Sales is a cut throat business and car sales is just a bunch of coke heads trying to one up another.
