*&% you guys know i work at a dealership right, first off this morning i find out i only make *&#@ing $1000 on a corvette Z-06 deal then the same day i sold a XLR-V Supercharged AND SOME ******* SLEAZY OLD FART SCOOPED HALF MY DEAL sorry to burden you with my ^&%ING anger but I need to release the anger or i swear im going to quit right now ****

Yea I noticed a lot of competitive sales scooping at the dealership I went to. My salesperson even told me about it while helping me out. That really sucks.

And just 1k on a z06.. wow... I woulda thought they would really want to reward you for that .

ya usually a z-06 is worth 3750 in my pocket but the xlr-v is what is pissing me off, the guy is like 90 and i wanna go boot **** the son of a bitch

there fcukign u oevr man 100 for a z06 commession is dick all... fi would find out why ur getting dicked around... my sales person made 1000 $ or even a bit more on my CSSSC

that is a body kit and EVERY ******* ADD ON THE COBALT HAS IF I WOULDVE MADE THAT CHECK OVER $6000 IN 2 CARS

and ya 25% of gross on chev cars arent that much except for the corvettes, so nothing big i could see if it were a bmw!

no guys remember i make 25% of GROSS meaning the mark of the car like on a z-06 normally the car is lets say $100,000 mark up is $15,000 i make $3,750

This is how the automotive sales industry works. I worked at a dealer for a bit. The money from commission was only part of what paid the bills. Where I worked and at most dealerships the incentives are what really pay off. We got incentives for bench marks. Total sales, Total cost of sales, resigning a customer all had different prices of what we would get toward the bottom line. If you don't like another sales men taking some of your sale then be the first to the door, the first to the car, the first to the desk. Then when you make a sell make sure the customer recognizes you as the one who sold him / her the vehicle. Sales is a cut throat business and car sales is just a bunch of coke heads trying to one up another.
