For those with swirls

I have owned numerous black cars and no matter what you do it's pretty much inevitable that you will develop swirls.

Anyhow, I've finally found something that's extremely easy to use and get's the best results out of everything I've ever used.
I used to use Mother's 2 stage, but I've noticed it takes out minimal swirls.

So I've started using Meguire's swirl Remover 2.0 I highly recommend this product. It is safe for all clear coats and extremely easy to wipe off (Don't use on a hot surface or in direct sunlight) You can apply by hand or orbital buffer.

It ran my about $8.00 at the swap meet. However, I would recommend using Mother's Stage 1 before applying to remove any/all oxidation or crap that may be on the car. (It's a cleaner wax) And for best results, after applying the swirl remover, use Mother's Stage 3 which is a pure carnuba wax.

Good luck everyone and thought I would just pass on this info to anyone who was also plagued with the swirls

You won't be dissapointed, especially with red since their not as easy to see and I'm very picky when it comes to black.

3M makes awesome products. I had my black truck color sanded and that took all the swirls out. Basically it was reshot and then wet sanded to take out the imperfections. I don't remember what it cost, but it looked like liquid and was well worth it.

since stage one is most likely the cleaner phase, use the swirl remover after stage 1 and you'll be good. Then, just apply your normal stage 2 after the swirl remover. (check to make sure your stage 2 is a carnuba wax and not also a mild swirl remover)

no mother's stage 2 is alright for swirls but only very minor ones...I now recommend using Meguire's swirl remover 2.0
