Small drill hole fix this headlight?

well I know theres been 100 of these threads but whats one more..

I have the great moisture in my headlight and I wanna get rid of it.

My question is will drilling a hole in the headlight fix it?

also:

what size drill bit? the smallest I can find?
Do I drill it in the bottom of the headlight?
and should I drill it in the left, middle, or right of it?

thanks a lot. Im only asking bc Im slightly confused as it seems to me that it'd cause more moisture to come into the headlight.

Onto the picture:

Thanks,
-Jay

Just get a heat gun or hair dryer and dry up all the moisture, then reseal them.

I would try drilling a small hole and see if it fixes it. Drill it in the bottom of the light. If that doesn't work, you could always just fill the hole back up with silicone.

Why drill holes. Just one more thing to go wrong. Just remove the bulb and let the moisture out naturally. Blow dryer if you wanna dry the lens quickly, but let it sit for a bit anyway to let the moisture escape.

If you don't want to drill a hole, put the headlight back in the oven at 200*, wait until all the moisture is gone, then while the headlights are good and warm, put some clamps (or something similar) and use it to SQUEEZE the headlights back together, and let it sit squeezed back together until they cool and the sealant hardens.

well Id rather not bake them.. if nothing works Ill just deal with it.

but thanks for everybodys help. Also, I already let it dry naturally and it came back, not right away but still came back. Ill probably do that and drill it.

thanks again guys.

take the bulb out, get a blow dryer. get the condensation out. and silicone the **** out of the lens. its easy, wont wreck anything and they wont leak anymore.

Drilling a hole will let the moisture out. It also lets moisture back in. I don't believe in that method. The best (and IMO only) way to 100% solve that is to take the headlight apart, dry it out, reseal it.
