Anyone know where I can find the solstice gxp gauges or the saturn sky redline gauges? I seen both an I liked them. Thinking of getting either or. I couldnt find thembon ebay lol

I looked at blackcat customs but they dont have the design like the sky. And I was looking forbthe physical cluster is not just the face.

 

how do the solstice gauge clusters look like?

 

They are grey face with red lighting and I think the DIC is red. They also say gxp on the tach

your trying to put a solstice cluster in your g5? or you want your gauge face to look like the solstice?

if so just pm black cat customs. they will make you a custom face.

 

my buddy had a sky redline and the gauges were shaped like ours but cheap looking like the back lighting looked like a dim 2 watt light bulb. but saturn aura gauges look nice and imo should have been what they put in the sky, however they are backwards from our gauges(big center small outer)

Yes. I seen people with the solstice install cobalt ss gauge clusters in theirs. So I am assuming.they fit. I wouldnt mind trying it. Also, I do own a g5 that I will turbo soon and wanna brand it as gxp since they weren't made. I personally liked yhe sky redline gauges. I felt they had a retro look, but it the lighting is really not good ill just look for the gxp solstice cluster

After more than a year I made the change. Everything worked fine except for the doc portion. I'm thinking it might be because my car is an 09 and the cluster is from an 07. I'll look for an 09 and find out it us the different years causing the problem

 

A member on the G5 site did this about 5 or 6 years ago with a solstice cluster. The DIC worked fine for him, but the second display on the left side wouldn't work (obviously).

I LIKE the saturn sky gauges linked above, with the yellow lighting -- they would look great in my yellow '07 SS/SC

I don't know anything about the running changes in skys (skies ?)

I looked at current ebay listings, and of all the clusters that look like the link above, only one is listed as an '07.

Can anyone on here confirm whether the '08-up sky cluster will function properly in an '07 CSS, or if an '07 sky cluster will ? Also, properly identify what years use the cluster linked above ?

Best shot is going to be to wait for the 07 cluster you want if this one is too expensive for you. I suggest to wait for one that is your year. I lost all dic functionality.. As funny as that sounds lol. The screen on the left works fine for me though, the trunk light and fuel light work properly. I was think it might be a difference in the harness that plugs to the back on why the dic wwon't function. Or just the different ecu from different years. Either way does anyone have a diagram of the pins on the harness and what each of them are?

Wow, that looks great! Do the needles sweep when you turn it on? I really doubt you were doing 130.

 

Since just about every light is on I'd say they sweep

Yes they do sweep! I got excited seeing then sweep for the first time lol! And I could do 130 if I wanted :p
