i dont want no cd player then the screen folds out

yea but how do you get these installed and keep your onstar and xm radio?

is that possible? do you have to buy a specific dvd player, more than likely only high end ones are compatible?

Sure will. You're going to need to the black frame that supports the system, Most aftermarket car audio places will sell them. Only around $30 or so.
I had to get this but i can't speak for everyone, but you're going to need an interface module so the car's computer can run your noises and warning chimes though one of the drivers side speakers. They can be pricy, possibly $110 or somewhere around there.
I had a bypass installed so that the dvd player can be used while driving. Some people just re-do the wiring. Either way.

As far as I know it looks like you can use a relay for the bypass or a toggle switch. The reason I don't like the p3100 is because it doesn't have a volume knob. It has buttons for volume and I like have a knob to twist. but thats just me.
