Spray Paint Rims

So I'm looking for an alternative to powder coating my rims.

I found a cheap way via a how-to on the internet that seems to yield decent results

I wanted to get others opinions on this before I went out and attempted this

I'm not sure if there is another thread on this, if so, my bad.

here are a couple links that had good results

they turned out a lot better than i expected with spray paint.. I used a certain kind made for rims i got from pep boys. I'm still debating whether or not i want to put a layer of clear coat on it.

I know it needs to be lowered. I'm working on it

I used gloss black paint on mine and I put a few coats of clear on them. They look good.

You can clear over plasti-dip and itll still peel off since the clear has no adhesion to the rim, only to the plasti-dip, which has no adhesion really to the rim. So itll just peel off together
