Springs..how low is LOW?

i want to get springs but i dont want to spend the money and get a drop thats not even noticable, or get a drop thats to low, i know eibach has the ones that are either 1"/1.5" and then the 2"/2.5". i the 1" doesnt seem like alot and would be a waste if theres barely a difference, but then i dont want my car to be low rider low you know. so if u guys got pics and could tell me what kinda drop you guys got would help me out alot in my decision this week!

ooh and i got a 2005 SS/SC of that helps lol

Pro-Kits are a waste of money, IMO

I got sportlines, which I thought would be too low, but they turned out to be perfect

I have the pro kit in my car.... It is far from a waste of money bud. Dropped my car perfectly and guess what.... it never scrapes! its awesome, i also have 18'' rims so it helps cover the gap a little better. Actually there is a difference in wheel well gap between base model and ss/gt models

The prokit drops the ss none in the front and only .5 in the back. Go with sportlines, lower the ss/sc around and inch in the front and a little over an inch on the back.

IMO lowering should create an even arc around your tire.

IE, the same distance from the wheel well to the tire, all around the well.

If the top of the wheel well is closer to the tire than on the sides, its to low.

(this is just my own personal opinion, i think it looks stupid when the gap isnt nice and uniform)
