I was cleaning the car the other day and being way to particular, and I noticed that I have what look like clip holes in underneath the front bumper, 4 empty holes underneath the lower grill and 3 on either side of which are being used to fasten the bumper in... my assumption was it was the clip holes for the SC lip... but I have read on here a few times from a few different people, that the SC lip will not fasten onto a 2.4 bumper.

My question is, are these locations for the SC lip attachements?

As you can see, I snaped a pic of one of the vacant holes underneath the lower grill.

I have the same thing on my g5 gt, and I asked this question before but without the pic

I'm curious, because I remember reading a few times, that the 2.4/ GT bumber don't have these, and that you couldn't fasten a SC lip to them, but I figure somebody on here has to know.

I might be wrong, but I think the 06and 07s have them

the lips have that attachment and the slot attachment....its like chevy went halfway with and stopped...personally i believe that the lips could be modified to fit and stay on without the slots
