SS body kit on LS

EVERYTHING gets dropped off for paint tomorrow, should have it back together by Weds at the latest. My front Ls bumper is already off and FOR SALE! i'm hacing alittle trouble with one screw on each side of the rear...

What I want to know is if the G5 GT rear lip fits the base bumper, since that lip just fits on the G5 base bumper (not a different rear bumper like SS Cobalts). So... SS/NA front (+ lip if you so desire), SS/GT skirts, and the G5 rear lip for the LS bumper. Cheaper than getting an SS bumper and doesn't look like you're trying to make a clone, but would look stock.

good point... i'm not going to buy an SS rear lip, i'm going to fab a way to make this SS rear lip fit on the Ls bumper, if it's done and all is well i'll make a how to, i'll try to remember to take pictures of what is happening.
you can only put ss front lip on, the rear wouldn't fit, so, there's no point. i'm pretty sure CED sells teh front lip if you ask them.

just plz back up the show...cause if not sum ******* honda boy is gonna go around talkin **** bout the SS SC sayin how he walked on in his I/H/E RSX and give the SSSC's a bad name.... i mean heck all the LS's wot SS SC spoilers r already doin it lol.... but as long as u back it up.. thats cool.. but just to make a car luk gud is gay imo.. for instance there is a yellow lancer ralliart in my area that is all evo'd out.. n it just pisses me off... bc civic's beat him n talk **** bout ev's afterwards...

ls1fbody.. ur right that is true the SS SC is the best lukin but still im always bothered by the guy who wants to make his LS luk like an SS SC... its kinda like the new civic ricer boys.. idk.. i just hate posers.. bc half the time they run 2-3 secs slower n the 1320 n give the real car a bad name...
hey, i don't mind people underestimating my car, makes them that much more impressed when i destroy them at the track, haha. nothing like smoking a GT mustang and watching them all try to figure out what the **** that crazy noise coming from my car was...

honestly the high rise spoiler luks cheap and pep boyish... and i think that GM was tryin to cater to the Honda ricer community and make the car more appealin to them... bc from wat ive been seein alot of the LS guys r ex honda owners just makin domestic rice outta their cars and disgracing the SS SC owners... but thats just my opinion

trust me, if i had the money to buy an SS, i would have but i didn't and i'm not comfortable driving a stock LS, so i started with tints and a short throw, then I went to rims and NEEDED a drop, and obviousl by that stage i got sucked in like all you guys, and i'm loving working on the car and making it look better and better, of course i'll turbo it eventually and laugh because my car's just as fast and my insurance is half what some of you have to pay. if i could do this purchase all over again, i would probably buy a used LS and have more money to build the engine right away.

My 318ti back then looked real smooth, with an M3 kit, interior pieces and a growly Stromung exhaust.
It wasn't fast by any means (about the same speed as an LS), but it's your car, not theirs, it doesn't matter whether or not they think they smoked an SS because chances are down the road,
a REAL SS, or some other fast car is going to hand their ass to them and they'll be put in their place.
I plan on doing an SS kit, not because I want to be an SS, but because that's what I believe I like on my car. As long as the badges aren't there, it doesn't matter.
I'm probably not going to have the money to turbocharge my LS through college, so cosmetics are the way to go right now.
If your car looks good, you don't have to prove ANYTHING to others performance wise(aka backing it up).
Just remember, modding your car is to fit your personal preferences, and if YOU don't care about being hella fast while looking good, then don't listen to anyone else's opinions because only yours is going to matter in the end anyway, and we all know that.
Cars are an extension of ourselves. Mine is still mostly stock right now....it says "I'm broke"
