05-06 will partly work with 07+, you will only see the mileage and temperature, you lose all other DIC features
07 will work on 08+, everything will work except the TPMS light (TMPS still works though)
08-10 work with 08-10, everything will work

i have nothing expect coolant temp wtf and the turn signal noise is from hell loving the TC disabled light though!

the whole point of getting the SS cluster wasnt for the look when i got those blackcat custom LEDS the guy who took my needle off messed up on the MPH and i ended up getting a ticket. Once you remove that needle from the factory its never the same. Atleast now i'm looking good and i know my true speed and RPMs it was off 300-400 before. I'll have my PLX odbII installed soon enough so no biggie loosing the DIC but hey i can read my coolant temp in the mean time.

It might be from a 06.
If so that would cause the issue.
It's listed as COBALT 06 US, 2.0l on the above link.

all the other 2008 SS clusters i find on ebay only read up to 120 thats 20 less then what i had before????

whats the point in having a ss cluster if it doesn't read to 160 and work for my car like it should?

my 09 LNF cluster works perfectly in my 08 2.4 sport. Everything works like it should. Should of looked around for a closer match year wise on the cluster.

all boosted SS models came with 160mph gauges if they are american cars.

So all LSJ and LNF cars have the black faced 160mph cluster. Mines out of a 2009 SS LNF car.

To everyone saying you need the same year: NO YOU DONT.

But yes, getting the same year guarantees everything will work, but it is possible to have everything work by using a different year.

Interchange: COBALT 06 US, 2.0L

You got an 06 cluster for your 08 car. The guide tells you it will partly work, and partly work is exactly what happened. If you wanted everything else to work, you should have gotten an 08+ cluster for your 2008 model. If you can live without the TPMS light, then a 07 cluster would work too.

Well it didn't not work, and it didn't fully work.. so partly work is what you would describe it
