SS emblem , What do you guys think?

So i recently bought some SS emblems. I really think they would look good on my car but my only concern is that most people cant tell the difference between an SS and a LS. THey only can differentiate by the wing. As you all can see i have the SS wing so everyone thinks i have an SS.

I fear by putting these stickers on i will only promote them more to think its an SS.

I hate the idea of a hooked up SI or something like a SRT 4 blowing me out by 8 car lengths and then they think they smoked an SS...

What do you guys think? I think the emblems would really add some appearance points to my vehicle.

I have an LS and I would NEVER put an SS badge on my car. Its just not right. Why be a fake?

I personally don't like badging to a higher model it just isn't cool. But i would like to put some LS or LT badges on mine, might be fun to do.

The only way I would do that is if I had the biggest F***ing turbo or supercharger to back it up.

Until then, don't embarrass the rest of the Cobalt community.

I wouldn't do it... maybe try something like an older RS emblem... but don't try to emulate a SS

Amen man! I was thinking the same thing, or Mustangs with fake Cobra or GT emblems. The first thing that comes into my mind (after "rice") is that the driver is in total denial that they didn't get the higher package car.

And as far as putting a turbo or sc on it then putting the SS badges on, I still wouldn't do it. Cherish whatever sleeper look you have left. Think about it, would you rather advertise as an SS or see the look on someone's face after they get smoked by what they thought would be an easy-kill LS?

Oh i can hear it now... Some punk in a ricer with a fart can is going to race you and win.... then go and tell 1000 people that his honda just whopped a cobalt SS (fake one).

grrrrrrrr

Oh i raced a fake EVO the other day ( I could tell it was a lancer with at big wing, fart pipe and wheels) but no inner cooler, hood or anything.
It wasnt much of a race (i let up after 2nd gear because i was about 10 cars ahead)

On a not criticizing note.... try adding a RS or Z24 badge if you want to trim it up some....

I think yours would look pretty good as a Cobalt RS.

Flip the SS over and then you will have a 2 2. All you need to add is the period, 2.2 Trim! hahahahaah

That is WRONG on so many levels. Your car is not an SS and will never be an SS.
Lets find his car and rip the badges off.

Reminds me of a few weeks back a the carwash. Thought I saw a Corvette ZR1 in a wash bay. Upon further inspection I noticed it was a convertible. They NEVER made ZR1 verts.
