SS Logo question...

I just had to buy new badges for the trunk lid and the SS logo is chrome with white on the inside... is this how its supposed to look? I was under the impression they were all sliver.

It seems my passenger side door SS is chrome and white, but my drivers side is all silver... WTF? Are they supposed to have white inserts in them or all silver?

silver trim, white inside. i don't think i've ever seen all silver "SS" emblems

Weird... is it possible for the white inserts to fall out or something? My drivers side emblem that looks to be all silver has a crack in it from a stone I guess, you think that could have possibly knocked out the white insert?
