Okay guys so I got rear ended a few weeks ago and I've had about enough of fiberglass aftermarket bullshit bumpers that dont fit so I bought what I THOUGHT was an SS rear bumper but turned out to be just the SPORT model rear bumper. I had already purchased an SS Turbo rear lip and obviously it wouldnt fit so that company was nice enough to accept the return as they stated it was indeed an SS rear bumper when it was a SPORT, so I am in the process of ordering the SS Turbo rear bumper that the lip came off of.

Basically.. I just wanna make sure the 2010 SS bumper is gonna fit my 2007 LT. The mounts look to be in the same place and I've heard they are interchangeable but I just wanna be SURE. Also, where would I find all the clips and things needed to attach the bumper to the lip? Thanks in advance for the help! Can't wait to get that thing on its gonna look sexyyyyy

The SS rear lip fits on all the bumpers.. the SS/SC & SS/TC bumper's are a lil lower on the sides near the wheel well and they have the slots in em already to put the lip in(or should :lol)

From everything I heard, it should fit with no problem.. as far as the clips.. for the bumper, its all push pins, an a couple screws, and its the same for the lip except for a bunch clips, I'd talk to your local dealership or hit up some junkyards, or autozone or somethin

 

Yeah that's exactly what I thought so then I really did buy a Sport bumper instead of the SS bumper. I'm ordering the actual bumper that my lip came off of tomorrow so it better fit this time hahahaha. But I actually found a dude on here who has all the clips if he PMs me back..
I'm also having a shop install and paint the bumper and lip so I guess I should just take them both and let them get the clips haha. I took the mesh out though it will be easier for them and I'm gonna paint them matte black I'll be sure to post pics!!

I have a cobalt LS coupe. I beginning to transform it into an SS. I'm fairly new to the car part world. Will you bumper fit my coupe? And does it have the lip?

His Pontiac bumper won't fit unfortunately the tail lights are different but I actually have a Cobalt SPORT rear bumper for sale it will fit your Cobalt but it doesn't come with a lip if you can find one of those then you're all set! The bumper's slots are made for the SPORT lip but (apparently?) it has the dashes on the inside of the bumper to cut holes for the SS lip. PM your email address and I can send you some pictures if you'd like.. It's in great shape, primed and ready for paint. Not to mention already packed with tons and tons of bubblewrap
