The SS highrise wing fits on the LS right? It should I would think. The trunk on the LS just looks so damn small. Just checkin to make sure. Thanks.

yeah they go great, the best thing to do it to do a trunk swap, takes about 10 mins.

 

are we talkin about the regular ss wing, or the ss/sc wing. Cuz the ss/sc wing is incredibly distracting and it causes more trouble than a smoking hot 16 year old girl with daddy issues.

 

I don't think they look good at all if you put it on a stock 2.2 bumper... Might look okay if it's lowered, but I just think that the rear end of 2.2's look too high already, and putting the high rise spoiler just makes it worse.

 

I'd have to agree with these guys. I've seen the high pro wing on an LS/LT trim and something just looks ...off....
Hell the damn thing almost doesn't look right on the SS or SS/SC.

but to answer your question, yes it would fit on a coupe model. NOT a sedan model.
you can either trade trunk lids (easy and fast but you lose the ability to open your trunk with the key), or you can pull off the spoiler and reseal the new one on( not so easy and requires several tools)

 

SS/SC wing looks gay on a stock LS or LT

 

i switched my low ls wing to the highrise ss wing and it bolted right in.. no problems seeing out the back.. just dont do it to think your car will be an SS.. i did it cause i love the look of the wing and when ppl say oh it's an SS i let em know it's an Ls

i ve got a ss s/c with the low spoiler, but im trying to get the high profile one, but someone told me to seat in a cobalt that has the high profile spoiler and see what you ll be looking out the back window. something to think about doing.

 

That wing is a magnet for cops and ricey street racers for a 5 mile diameter! If I were you I'd get the low rise one if any at all.

But if your really set on it theres a thread in here for swapping the trunk lids that should work for you! Lots of SS/SC guys want no spoiler, you want thiers, just find the right color and SWAP!

build up the performance, and if you feel the need to advertise it, THEN get a wing. visa versa is just not the way to go... no different than a civic with a fart can and a full body kit. just my opinion.

yupp your opinion and everyone is entitled to their own, also when i find a good oppurtunity i jump on it, why wait when i found someone willing to drive and meat me to swap wings for free.
also about performance mods i'm workin on it but they cost more, and i dont see an "official 2.2 for 2.0 swap thread" lol.
so until i get more money to do performance mods ill stick with the free appearance ones, and drive my 1979 Z28 camaro when i wanna go fast!

 

While I do agree that it is your car and you should do what makes YOU happy first and formost I'll disagree with your "go fast" statement in reference to the 1979 Camaro. In 1979 the highest output engine was 175 hp and with a body weight of over 3700 pounds that should make your Cobalt faster with its 145 hp to 2800 pounds of body weight. 30 more horses for almost an aditional 1000 pounds I wouldn't exactly label "fast".

Or is the Camaro all built up and if so ....what ya got done man?!? I had several Trans Am's and FireBirds and its nice to meet another F-body owner!
