Stock foglights H11 same as 9006?

I found somewhere on the internet saying that the 9006 bulbs were the same as H11's or if not exactly the same can be interchangeable. Can anyone confirm this?

Thats a real good question. I was wondering that for a while because I have a nice set from my Cavy and wanted to put them in, but don't want to mess anything up.

Someone who knows for sure should chime in...

I'd rather just put 9006's in there since I can buy them locally... If I end up not being able to do that then that link should be good. Thanks.
