this is sounding more an more like somethin I shouldn't' do myself How much would somethin like this run to get done professionally? like roof, sunroof piece, dash, an doors? That'd be the only way I could get it done... I don't like the whole mismatch look

thats the oem color..... its slightly off but i doubt you would really notice it in all honesty. repainting everything is a lot.....

just do the upper half of the car an d call it a day...the way you talk if your going to do the doors quarter trim and all that non sense you might aswell do the dash and crap.....which doing the glovebox, cubby hole areas are a nightmare and wont last.

So, I dropped the back half of the assembly, and removed the little bar that goes across. I still cannot get that damn shade to slide out. Anywhere else something may be attached, that I'm not seeing?

Well, lets just say I cant move the sunroof to get the last screws out and remove the glass. It would make taking the whole thing out a lot easier. And by myself, the weight of all of it combined with bad leverage from sitting under it means I can't take it all out at once. I just dont want it falling on me. lol

theres 2 torx screws on the top to remove a beam in the rear. after thats removed you might see these 2 little things that are sort of a stopper. they are real big and you can work the sunroof piece past it. you can see with a light just toy with the sunroof piece and give it a good tug and it should sneak past them.

Okay... I put the bar back in last night so I wouldn't lose anything. I'll take it back out and give it a shot since I have better light. I didn't see the other stoppers before. Thanks!
