Suede Seats Installed

So I finally got aronud to taking pictures of my new seats, they were taken on a cell phone sorry. They are NR>G Type R Suede Seats, NR>G Harness Bar w/ 4pt Harness's, and wedge engineering seat brackets. Thank you James and Mike at NR>G, and Lyndel at Wedge engineering. Upside, the side of the seats are much higher and firm, they hold you in great and feel extremely comfortable. Downside, probably hard to clean if I spill something, and you can't retain factory belts, I'm going to try to mount something. Enjoy

Many also ask for a pic of how the harness bar was attached, so I pictured that as well. I'm going to cut the side panels so I can put them back in.

depends how big they are haha, but not easy, I don't take any passengers anyways cause I'm a neat freak....also even if they did fit I wouldn't feel comfortable with them sitting there with a bar right in front of their face haha. Back seats will be coming out shortly.

yes it's universal, you have to adjust the tabs though by bending them out a little, the newer version of their bar has adjustable tabs but is 2" longer so not sure if it'll fit. you can buy at nrginnovations.com

they feel awesome, great for daily driving. I thought they would be kinda hard to move around in, but the suede is nice and smooth, similar to a stock STI seat, or IS300 seats...very comfortable.

That looks pretty sweet but I dunno if I'm too crazy on the color. Enjoy your new seats though!

LOOKING GOOD!

How much were the brackets from Wedge Eng.? Is there a specific part # for them?

Any other info you have regarding them would be great....

yes they are type-r. give them a call, this is a new product and haven't put it on their site yet. You can ask for Mike and tell him the guy with the orange cobalt from So Cal referred you. Might get you a better deal, but can't promise anything, especially since it's going to have to be shipped

when you get the plastic back on, make sure to send me a picture, i want to get a harness bar, and if the ends of the bar are flush with the plastic, this would be a nice one. What color choices do they have for it?

unfortunately I think I'll have to cut into the plastic pieces unless I can find a way to change the angle, which I am working on but it's raining so I can't at the moment. I think they have this gunmetal color, red, and blue.

my internet doesn't work at my house right now unfortunately, and I think my work would get pissed if I was photo shopping lol I don't even have photo shop here. I'm going to dump my internet company and go with someone else god dammit

BTW there is more modification to get this to fit in the car (which is not pictured) the harness stabilizer bars do not reach all the way to the bolts at the floor, so there's a bracket as an extension. I'm going to find a better way to fix this problem tonight, I'm not going to show pictures yet cause I don't want to give my sponsor a bad name, as soon as I come up with a good fix I'll let you know
