Sunroof installation on a Cobalt

Thinking about it because I can get the whole setup for extremely cheap. Does anyone know what I can expect to be paying for installation? or what problems I might run into? Because If it doesnt cost that much I wouldn't mind having it done.

good luck with that. the parts may be cheap. and they may be oem parts. but it will be a custom install and will be crazy expensive

It will leak if it's not stock. I've had my stock sunroof apart and it has drain tubes going down each pillar. If you don't have these, be prepared to get wet everytime it rains or when you wash your car.

aftermarket sunroofs (the good ones, at least haha) come with drain tubes as well that are run down the headliner to the stock drain tubes for the other parts of the body

Uhh no, Local dealerships around here will send their cars to "Tims Trim" To get a roof installed instead of "ordering" a specific vehicle. Around here roofs must be less expensive? like 400 less from a post above. TT usually charges around 800 for a electronic roof with great guarantees, As long as the installer knows their **** and has good quality products there is NOTHING to worry about.

Haha! You could also shave a few inches off the height!

I can get all the parts needed including the glass (all factory oem parts) for 150 (which I thought was an amazing price), If it's less then 4-500 for labour should I go ahead with it?
