Tail Tint Recommendation

So I'm gonna do the skyline tail lights in a couple weeks and i figured as long as im gonna have everything apart I might as well get them tinted too. I plan on using the VHT Nightshades stuff and im wondering if you guys think i should tint over the clear part of the reverse lights or not? and if not whats the best way to keep it from bleeding in to it.

I would say don't, I have a G5, I was repainting my back bumper and figured when I took the bumper off I'd do the tails and it seriously cuts into their brightness. I mean they're still visible so other drivers can see you backing up, even in daylight, but if you actually use them to see behind you they don't work nearly as well as they do un-tinted. As far as the best way to mask them off I wouldn't know so you'd have to ask somebody else so sorry for that, but good luck with it! I know a few people have done it, check the how-to section. I think there's actually one titled "how to tint your tails so you can still see while backing up" or something like that...

Don't tint your reverse lights, I did mine can't see anything at night (5% tint) and I think it looks better with them not tinted personally I wish I didn't, I'm lookin for some cheap reverse lights so I cam redo the
