Replacing projector???

So i was just curious if anyone has done this. I have 2nd gens and want to know if it is possible to replace the orig. projector housing with a true projector from something else that was meant for hids.

It is possible but you need to find yourself a small projector to replace it as there isn't a huge amount of room. The hardest part is coming up with a way to mount the new projector in its place because I will guarantee it will be totally different. If you want find a bixenon projector so that the projector does high beam and low beam and then run the projector high and the halogen high at the same time.

Do you know what car i can get them off of. I know the size of them and everything. The depth of the projector is about 6 inches. the mounting plate is 3 1/2 by 3 1/2 square. the lens diameter is 3 inches. Any idea on what i can use?
