Thinking about changing my auto shifter! Vote and comment!

Ok well I'm kinda getting tired of looking at the factory shifter in my Balt so I'm thinking about putting my old shift knob from my last truck I built in it. The button that keeps the shifter from moving is messed up so I don't have to worry about that, lol. Of course if I put it in it will most certainly be repainted, but here it is...

These are all the pics I have of it right now. Please vote and leave me comments. I always got compliments on my shifter in the truck so I'd kinda like to bring that to the Cobalt now

But why??? I think it would look so much better than the stock shifter, plus its a head turner. Like I said though if I do it the color will be changed. The shifter has a lot of sentimental value to me, that's another part of the reason I wanna put it in.

Thank you, I take that as a compliment on my paintwork, lol, although I have to give the credit of the pinstriping to my good buddy Corkey. Its actually a fiberglass piece, I've had it for a long time and it's been painted I don't know how many time's lol. I was just toying with the Idea of putting this in until I can afford to build my Datsun and then it's designated to go there, and it's gonna have to be repainted to match the colors I'm planning on it anyways, lol.

I asked for criticism and I got it, doesn't hurt my feelings in any way

Any suggestions for a stock shifter replacement for an auto? May be something to look into in the future!
