thoughts on this shifter boot.

Well my stocker has had it. Debating on replacing it with this. Thoughts?

Unless you have patience for fitment I'd look at another one. It will work but as any universal item, you're going to have to fidget with it.

Its alright, you gotta keep in mind that it is 8 bucks. It needs to be customized to work. If your not willing to do that, bring it to a upholstery shop, and I bet they will make it look real nice, compared to me, if not, go buy the stuff meant for cobalts.. I personally will be switching it out when I go with a STS.

Take the little metal ring out, make the whole bigger for the stock plastic piece, then you have to re-sow the stitching. then at the bottom, you need a powerful stable gun to stable it back to the plastic . Other then that put it on.

Personally if your old shift boot is torn, ripped, ugly looking, and just need a replacement for a little while, go for it. .

If its not, and it looks fine, leave it be.

It is coming apart. It sounds pretty simple. Thanks for your help.
