thoughts on this shifter boot.
Well my stocker has had it. Debating on replacing it with this. Thoughts?

Its alright, you gotta keep in mind that it is 8 bucks. It needs to be customized to work. If your not willing to do that, bring it to a upholstery shop, and I bet they will make it look real nice, compared to me, if not, go buy the stuff meant for cobalts.. I personally will be switching it out when I go with a STS.

Take the little metal ring out, make the whole bigger for the stock plastic piece, then you have to re-sow the stitching. then at the bottom, you need a powerful stable gun to stable it back to the plastic . Other then that put it on.
Personally if your old shift boot is torn, ripped, ugly looking, and just need a replacement for a little while, go for it. .
If its not, and it looks fine, leave it be.
